A sad accident occurred last Wednesday morn. at residence of Samuel SIMPSON a few miles from this village. A young lad, age 17, son of Vincent BELL of this parish (Woodstock) descended into an outdoor cellar for the purpose of kindling a fire in a stove, used as a preventive against the frost. Not returning at his usual time, his employer went to look for him, and discovered the youth lying on the floor. - Victoria Guardian
