Benjamin Stickney b Tewksbury 1 December 1737 m1 - d John Plummer r Rowley or Newbury by whom he had two children. m2 Hannah Grover and settled in Windsor, Maine where she died aged 88
He was a private from Tewksbury in Capt Jonathan Butterfield's Co 2d Battalion of Brig Gen Ruggles' Regimen, Crown Point 6 April 1758 to 3 December 1758. He was a private from Tewksbury in Capt William Barron's Co 15 March 1762 - 29 November 1762
He died 1835 ae 98.
His nephew the late Dr Jereiah Stickney of Antrim, NH, informed the writer, that he settled in Townsend [Boothbay], Maine, near the mouth of the Sheepscot River, married there, and was propserous. Report says that they were great dealersin in lumber, and owned one or two coasting vessels; that one son was a Physician, one a Major, and one a Justice of the Peace.
