      Married first to James Emery who died in 1792. She then married Rev. Seth Noble in 1793 in Bangor, Maine, who was a widower since 1790. Seth had taken his two youngest sons by his first marriage, Joseph and Benjamin, to Sheffield, N.B. in 1791 to be brought up with their Barker in-laws. Ruhamah and Seth had four children: Elizabeth (Betsy) 1793-1850; Thomas 1797-1795; Mary "Polly" 1796-1864; and John Adams 1799-1819. Rev Seth left Montgomery in 1805 after Ruhamah's death and moved to Franklinton, (now Columbus), Ohio where he had been granted two half sections of land. He died there in 1807. Betsy Noble married James Phillips (1776-1823) in 1808 and Polly Noble married Elisha Atkins (1792-1876) in Westfield, Mass. in 1816. John Adams Noble died unmarried.
