Nathaniel Frost, s Nicholas m Dorothy, was born at Kittery or Portsouth and was baptized 15 April 1712/13. He was a carpenter and farmer, and spent the most of his life at Durham and Lee, NH. In 1733 and 1734 he was at Dover, but returned to Durham about 1737. He married before November 1739 Elizabeth d Thomas darling, since on that date he and his wife Elizabeth conveyed to his brother John his interest in the house and land in Portsmouth, "bo't of their father Thomas Darling 10 Nov 1737."
In 1765 he signed a petition for the division of the town of Durham and the creation of the parish of Lee

Nicholas Frost, who was a native of Tiverton, a town located not far from the city of Exeter, Devonshire, England, came to this country as a sailor, and in 1707 settled at Portsmouth, NH. Subsequently he reoved to Sturgeon Creek (now Eliot), Maine, where he became an influential citizen. He m1 Dorothy Mendum, d Jonathan Mendum s Robert Mendum r Duxbury, who was born in 1604 and settle on Spruce Creek near Governor Williamson, where he served as Constable in 1652 and Selectman in 1673, and where he died in 1682. Both he and his wife Dorothy were baptized 19 September 1708. She died not earlier than June 1713; and he m2 1714 Sarah Huntress. At his death in 1718, he left two children by his first wife, of whom Nathaniel was the eldest.
Nathaniel Frost was born in Kittery, or Portsmouth, in the early part of the eighteenth century. He was a carpenter and farmer, and spent his entire life in New Hampshire. In 1733 or 1734 he was a resident of Dover, and in 1737 was living at Durham. In November 1739 he and his wife Elizabeth conveyed to his brother John Frost shipwright of Portsmouth, his interest in the house and land "bot of his father" at Portsmouth. In 1765 his name appears on the petition for the division of the town of Durham and the creation of the parish of Lee in the western section.
Winthrop, the youngest of a family of three children, was born in Lee, NH in 1753, and died in that town in July 1810.
