Ziba Pope Journal: Sunday 21 August 1814...this day Mr Leavit Vinning lost a child about eight years of age. [22 Aug 1814] attended her funeral and spoke something from the 39 psalm/ had some freedom/ oh that this dispensation of gods providence might be sanctified to the salvation of souls
