      Assessment 1822:
3 Jonathan Greenlaws: Jonathan D Greenlaw [s Thomas], Jonathan Greenlaw [s Jonathan], "Jonathan Greenlaw (Little)".

Jonathan Greenlaw (Little) is not assessed for and land, and there are no deeds in the registry refering to more than two Jonathan Greenlaws around 1822.

The moniker "Little" may refer to age, and since Jonathan D Greenlaw was born in 1795 or 1796, this implies that "Little" was born later, perhaps as late as 1801.

If "Little" refers to stature, without physical descriptions from other sources, then there can be no onclusions drawn.

Perhaps "Little" refers to the William Little m Ann Greenlaw family. Ann Greenlaw d Ebenezer Greenlaw m Ann.

I propose that Jonathan Greenlaw (Little) was not the Jonathan Greenlaw s Ebenezer Greenlaw m Eunice m Sarah Greenlaw. Since Little can be born as late as 1801 to be taxed in 1822, perhaps he is an undocumented son of another Greenlaw. It is clear that there are many unaccounted for Greenlaw children in this era.

Ebenezer Greenlaw m Eunice children [In the assessment 1822 Jonathan "Little" is listed just after Richard Greenlaw s Ebenezer m Ann.]
      s Elijah Greenlaw m Sarah Smith [m c 1790. Children through c 1817]
      s William Greenlaw m Lydia [m bef 1811. Children through 1830]
s Jonathan Greenlaw m Sarah [m 1796. No record after]
s Ebenezer m Ann [Although children mentioned in petitions seems to be accounted for]

Jonathan Greenlaw m Elizabeth Lamb children
s Jonathan Greenlaw m Mary Card [Although they were married in 1800. First child c 1801.]

Alexander Greenlaw m Hannah Nason children
      s Walter Greenlaw m Abigail Greenlaw [m 1798. John b c 1803]
Perhaps even a son of Alexander Greenlaw m Hannah Nason. It is unclear who the 2 sons 6 daughters in the 1807 petition refer to.
