Nehemiah Gilman many years since obtained a License of ocupation from Christopher Hatch Esquire for a Lot of Land situate at the Mouth of Waweig River, between Lot No 67 granted to Joab Babb, since purchased and improved by your Memorialist, and Lot No 64 granted to Matthew Lymburner, containing about 100 Acres, reserved by His Majestys Surveyor of Woods for a Mast pond for the use of the Navy, as Memorialist is informed; This lot would be of great Service to your Memorialist and his numerous Family, some of his Boys beging neary of Age, & anxious to sette in his Neighbourhood. He has cleared and improved about three acres of the same, this Lot is wider in the from than the Read, and lies immediately above another Lot also reserved.
