      Obituary
      JOHNSON - Andrew M Johnson passed away Sunday afternoon at 5 o'clock, after an extended illness. He was born at St Andrews, New Brunswick, April 12, 1834, and if he had lived another month would have been seventy-eight years of age. He came with his parents from the state of Maine to Oshkosh in 1849, and had been a resident of Winnebago county ever since. Mr Johnson formerly resided at 517 Seventh street, but recently he had resided with his son, William M Johnson, 748 Thirteenth street, where death occurred. He leaves one son, William M Johnson of this city, one brother, Frank Johnson of Buena Vista, Colo, one sister Mr Lydia Hicks of this city and Mrs Emma Robbins of Minneapolis, seven grandchildren, and one greatgrandchild. The funeral will take place Tuesday, services being being conducted at 348 Thirteenth street at 2:30 o'clock by Rev B T White of the Second M E Church. The interment will take place at Elmwood cemetery.

      Obituary
      JOHNSON-The funeral of the late Andrew M Johnson, whose death occurred Sunday morning, was held Tuesday afternoon, services being conducted at the home of William M Johnston, 548 Thirteenth street, at 2:30 o'clock. Rev B T White of the Second M E church officiated. The pallbearers were Andrew Hanson, R F Pommerening, Ira Hardy and Otto Laabs. The interment was at Ellenwood cemetery. Mr and Mrs Alvin Collins of Neenah attended the services.

      Andrew M. Johnson, filer for O.D. Peck, was born in Province of New Brunswick. His parents, Benjamin and Elizabeth (Brisley) Johnson, moved to Maine when he was a few days old, and from there they moved to Wisconsin, in 1849, locating in Oshkosh. The subject of our sketch engaged at carpentering work and lumbering; has been filing about four years; with O.D. Peck since 1881. He was married in Oshkosh in 1861, to Sarah Chase, of Oshkosh, formerly from N.B. She died in 1876, leaving three children- William, Sarah and Lucy.
