      Samule village. Cert number 57. Year 1810, 12th March at 9 in the morning. In front of us, a vicar-priest of Kolno parish, a civil clerk of Kolno borough, department and district of Lomza, "honest" (i.e.a citizen of a town) Jakub Romanski personally came forward, a widower, day-labourer, residing in a village of Krusza, Kolno borough, son of deceased Andrzej Romanski who came here from Warmia and Katarzyna, [Romanski] spouses, 32 years old according to a certificate issued by Franciszek Trze?niewski, a president of Kolno borough, in a village Tyszki Labna on day 5th current month and year. That certificate has been accepted by an office writer of Lomza department Walenty Kamionkowski and confirmed by a Court of Peace of Lomza district on day 9th current moth and year. Also an "honest" miss Marianna Samulowa, a widow, residing in Samule, Kolno borough, who settled on a peasant holding after his husband Stefan Samul's death, daughter of deceased

      Tomasz Malinowski, residing in Pupki, Kolno borough and Katarzyna nee Pupka, [Malinowski] spouses, 37 years old according to the same certificate. Both sides require to fulfil a marriage contract. That marriage was preceded with the banns published in front of the main door of our borough house on 18th and 25th February at noon. There were no disturbances to contract that marriage. We fulfiled the requests of both sides, read them all documents mentioned above and 6th chapter of the Napoleon's code (titled "Marriages") and asked prospective groom and prospective bride if they want to get married. Each of them responded separately "yes, that is my will". Therefore we declare in the name of Law that

      Jakub Roma?ski, a widower, and Marianna Samulowa, a widow, got married. That certificate was recorded in presence of witnesses: "honest" Franciszek Parda, 30 years old, Micha? Parda, 34 years old, both peasants residing in Krusza, Kolno borough, and Franciszek Marchewka, 40 years old, Kielian Samul, 38 years old, both residing in Samule. That certificate was read for newlymarried and witnesses and subscribed by us only, because they can not write. Maciej Milewski, a vicar priest of Kolno parish, a civil clerk [of Kolno borough].
