      My Dear Sir
      Here with I in close a Statement of Mrs Rickets Situation which may be relyed upon. She is now in a destsitute condition. I have known her since I was a boy. She has been twice married and each time to British Soldiers. (She says you refered her to me.)
      Cold there be anything done for her. I think her worthey the appropriations. And shold you be able to get her a pention you wold do well to inform me that I might look after her. That it was not badly used.
