    Will
    • I David Johnston of Rollingdam in the Parish of Dumbarton, Retired Farmer, do make and publish this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made.

I appoint my two sons Oscar Johnston and Beriah Johnston, Executors of this Will and I direct them to provide out of my personal estate for my Testamentary expenses and for the settlement of my just debts, if any outstanding at the time of my decease.

I give and devise to my said son Oscar Johnston my lotof land containing about twenty five acres, situate on the south side of the Meadow road in the Parish of Dumbarton, bought by me from Mitchell, and adjoining land now owned by my said son Oscar Johnston.

All the rest of the real estate of which I shall die seized, possessed of, or entitled to, wherever the same may be situate, I give and devise equally to my five sons, Albert, Joseph, Herman, Oscar, and Beriah, and to my two daughters, Ada Chase, wife of George E Chase of St Andrews, and Lucy Eagan, wife of Frank Eagan of Milltown, share and share alike, as tenants in common.

This payment is to take priority over my other legatees herein named.
