- Dear William,
Thomas McCrum married Margaret Cooper (both were of Lancaster Saint John) on 23 March 1837. Source - St. Andrews Presbyterian Church records seen in book "Early Saint John Marriages" at the Provincial Archives of New Brunswick.
Anne McCrum married John James Rippey (both of Saint John) on 25 October 1860. They were married by James Baird of the Presbyterian Church in Carleton Saint John. Source - Volume F, Saint John County marriages, 1859 to 1863. ( She evidently used the name Anne instead of the longer Hannah).

To His Excellency Lieutenant Colonel Sir William MacBean George Colebrooke K H Lieutenant Governor and Commander in Chief of The Province of New Brunswick &c &c &c
The Petition of Thomas McCrum of the Parish of Lancaster in the county of St John
Humbly Sheweth
That the last year and for Two years prior he held a piece of ground under license A 496 and renewed the same this year by making application paying the milage in the ususal manner and humbly conceives - that he is now it being after the first of July entitled to his License. That as he Opportuned on that ground the last year and there was no opposition made to the renewal of his License he some time past went to work again in getting summer Lots
but to his surprise he is now informed at the Crown Land Office that D A Anderson by the Order of Counsil on the 20th ultime to take in as part of his mill reserce your petitioners old ground
Therefor he hopes Your Excellency will not allow said D A Anderson to deprive your Petition of his old ground after his Expence in Making roads and buildings camps and that he may be protected from such loss by orders being issued that he received his License for a renewal of his old ground as he expected on his application for a renewal
And as in duty bound wll Ever pray
Thomas McCrum
