Timothy Blake Bible 3 February 2019 in the possession of David Rance According to Rance, The Bible passed to Mary Trott who married Nahum Pettygrove (who wrote in it "Mary Pettygrove's Book") and then down through her line of descendents. "The Bible was printed in 1762 and would have belonged to Timothy Blake (1740 - c 1783) the Revolutionary War veteran because it records the birth of his five children. There is only two generations worth of genealogical information recorded from those early days, but subsequent research by family members seems to have at least partly traced the ownership of the Bible down to present day, where it ended up in the basement of an heirless descendent living in St Catherine's, Ontario. * * * The New Testament Of our Lord and Savior Newly Translated out of the Original Greek and the former Translations Diligently Compared and Revised By His Majesty's Special Command Appointed to be Read in Churches Edinburgh MDCCLXII [1762] [Page] Daniel Blake was Born September th 11 1764 Andrew Webster Blake June th 23 1766 [Page] October the 7 : : 1769 Mehitebel Was Born at Margor Bagudes June 29th 1772 Moses Blake was Born at Penobscot Falls Timothy Blake was Born October th 1 1775 in Penobscot Mary Trott was Born June th 21 1783 [Illegible.
