- 3740 Death again has taken from our midst, Richard JOHNSON. Deceased was born in Dumbarton (Charlotte Co.) in the year 1857, but has lived for quite a number of years in the Western States. We sympathize with his widow and with his father and three sisters.

- There died of internal heamorrhage in Portland, Me., Dec. 14th, 1889, Richard B. JOHNSTON. Deceased was born at Dumbarton (Charlotte Co.) July 18, 1857 where he resided until Sept. 1878 when he went to Minneapolis, Minnesota. He resided in Minneapolis until July last when ailing health caused from a hurt one year ago compelled him to return to his home. During his stay in Minnesota he was foreman of lumber firm Nelson Tenny & Co. of Minneapolis. He leaves a young wife and three sisters in New Brunswick and one in Anoka, Minn. Upon the father, the loss falls with almost crushing force, the deceased being an only son.
